This year we are very happy to introduce SIP Scooters as the Primary sponsor of the 2018 Ride

What: The Firkin 420 Cannonball Run

Where: Andiamo Lets Go, 455 St Helens Ave, Tacoma, WA 98402 for Donuts and Coffee.

Meet: Friday, April 20th, 2018, 8:00 AM. Poot after 9:00 AM.

(Note: This ride is NOT 50cc friendly. A 125cc or better is recommended)

This year we are doing things a little differently. We will be spending three days riding around the sound in an effort to clock close to 420 miles. As mentioned, SIP will be our primary sponsors this year and we will have approximately 25 goodie bags to share on a first come first serve basis for a small fee. We will also have a SIP branded speedometer to raffle off on Saturday… Yes, Friday is typically a work day so take the Day off:

Day One – Friday, April 20th: After coffee and donuts at Andiamo Lets Go, we will be heading out to Port Townsend, via Purdy, Belfair, Hoodsport and Quilcene. We will have an early Lunch Stop at the Model T in Hoodsport before barreling out toward Port Townsend in an effort to catch the 3:30’sh Ferry. If we miss that one, we will mill about in the town and aim to be on the 5:15 PM ferry. The last leg of the ride will be about 90 minutes out to the Cama Beach state park cabins where Kevin W. of our Friendly rivals the F-Yeahs will be hosting evening entertainments (Note: if you have not already secured accommodations, its highly recommended that you book a spot at Camano Island State park. Bring a tent and respective Gear)

Day Two – Saturday, April 21st: After a leisurely breakfast, Jason K. will be leading is into the heart of Bellingham to meet our Northern brethren, explore the exquisite backroads of the region while also indulging in a stop for some Lunch before heading back to Cama Beach for evening shenanigans.

Day Three – Sunday, April 22nd: Homeward bound via the backside (east) of the I5. This will probably be a straight but wiggly shot back to T-Town with a quick stop for lunch along the way. When back in Tacoma, probably over some adult pop, we’ll tally up our mileage and see how close we got to the 420 Mark.

Route Maps (approximations):

Outbound (Friday): Tacoma — Port Townsend — Cama Beach State Park

Homeward Bound (Sunday): Backside of the I5
